SUSTAINABILITY IT’S NOT JUST WHAT WE DO, IT’S HOW WE DO IT. At Brook Taverner, we are committed to running a responsible, environmentally respectful and sustainable business. We recognise that our supply chain, processes and products can have an impact on the environment both directly and indirectly and we are taking measures to understand, monitor and subsequently reduce our impact. CARE IN EVERY THREAD From recycled polyester and reduced impact viscose, to natural cotton and wool, our fabrics are carefully sourced from some of the finest mills in the world and are tested for harmful substances before being made into beautiful garments. The result? High-quality corporate clothing that’s built to last. WASH AT 30OC It is our recommendation to wash at 30°C. This can save up to 40% of the energy used when compared to washing at 40°C, helping to prolong the life of our garments. Let’s care, together. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances. OEKO-TEX® STeP certification sets the highest standards for both social and environmental aspects of textile and leather production, as well as for industrial laundries. This certification is a sign of responsibility towards employees and the environment, and supports a company’s journey towards more sustainable production. Committing to the ETI Base Code ensures that the products we manufacture have not been made at the expense of workers in global supply chains. Using Sedex SMETA audits allows us to better manage and improve our ethical performance across our global supply chain.
