ASTM F2878 14.4 NEWTONS OF PUNCTURE PROTECTION (HYPODERMIC NEEDLE) Glovezilla Titan armour comprises of 2 finely threaded layers of steel mesh, with a further 2 layers of tightly woven high cut resistant para-aramid liner. Thanks to the technology allowing these layers to be so thin we are able to retain a high level of flexibility and dexterity without compromising on protection. These protective layers are then attached to a high comfort liner and then palm dipped into a highly visible green latex coating which acts as the first line of defence against all external dangers. Please note: There is no European standard for needle resistance. Current industry practice is to utilise the American Standard ASTM F2878 as a guide, and to allow comparisons between different products. These products are not needle proof.
